Enjoy the beautiful tweed flecks in Woolfolk's Fleck yarn, while working cable stitches and creating a v-neck vest. In this class you will learn how to work cables while creating a v-neck shape; work on short rows, and picking up stitches for the collar. This pattern calls for a cable cast on and a tubular bind off which will be covered as well.
Materials to Bring to Class:
- Dige pattern by José Paquin + Woolfolk
- Recommended yarn: Woolfolk Fleck, refer to pattern for yardage amount needed
- US 5 & US 4 - 32" circular needles (or size to obtain pattern gauge)
- Tapestry needle, stitch markers, and cable needle
Homework: bring a washed and blocked swatch to first class, refer to pattern for more information on gauge.
Intermediate skill level: comfortable with basic knitting skills and knitting in the round. This vest is for an intermediate, or adventurous beginner, ready to work cables.
