Knitting 103 - Small Circumference Knitting
3 Sessions: Sept 7th, 14th, & 21st from 1- 3pm

In this class we will explore multiple methods of knitting smaller items in the round as we knit a pair of fingerless mitts. We will practice knitting in the round using the “magic loop” method, as well as with DPNs (double pointed needles). You will also have the opportunity to try two alternate methods, although we will not go into those in depth. This class is crucial if you want to knit socks, mittens, or seamless sweater sleeves in the future.
Prerequisite: Knitting Basics 102; or able to cast on, and knit and purl in the round.
Materials to Bring to Class:
- 115 yards DK weight yarn in a light shade; wound
- US 7 32" circular needle
- US 7 DPNs
- Pattern will be provided
