Are you ready to move on from basic sweaters to more complicated patterns, but feel a bit intimidated? Are you looking for camaraderie and guidance while working on a sweater of your own choosing? Do you have a pattern you're dying to knit but can't find a class dedicated to it? This class is for you! Choose any sweater pattern you like, including patterns featuring lace, cables, color work, or interesting construction methods, and Rachel with guide you through the process, giving you you advice and help specific to your project.

Knitting Basics 101 - Learn to Knit, 2/14 & 2/21

In this class we will knit a sampler style scarf or cowl. You will learn to knit, purl, cast on, and bind off on straight needles. Ideal for absolute beginners, or those that haven’t picked up their needles in years.

Cabled Hat Class: Lake Reed; 2/14, 2/21, 2/28

Learn cable knitting while creating a hat fit for cool weather! In this class you’ll learn how to read a chart, knit cables - both with and without a cable needle, and end up with a squishy, cabled hat.

Steeked Sweater Class knit); begins 2/28 (5 sessions)

Have you wanted to make a beautiful colorwork cardigan but the idea of cutting your knitting makes you nervous? Or did you take our Steeked Cozy class and are now ready to go big (literally) and make your first steeked sweater? Then this is for you! We will walk you through the process of knitting, securing your work, and cutting your knitting. Choose your own pattern to steek!

Felted Slipper Class (knit); 3/7 & 3/21

Work up these extra cozy slippers then felt them! In this 2-part class you will learn how to knit each slipper double thick in a bulky wool yarn, then take them home to felt in hot water.

Poet Lace Scarf Class; 3/12, 3/19, 3/26

Knit the Poet Scarf by Sari Nordlund. In this class you will learn to knit lace, read charts, increase and decrease in pattern, and knit an end to end triangular scarf. This is a great introduction to the intricacies of lace knitting, especially if you are interested in knitting any of the other patterns in Sari Nordlund's Poet series.

Basic Sock: Toe Up Class; 3/8, 3/15, 3/22

Learn to knit a toe up sock with a heel flap and gusset. In this class you'll learn how to seamlessly cast on at the toe of a sock, work a heel flap and gusset, and a stretchy bind off. Toe up socks are easier to try on as you go, giving you a perfect fit.

Knitting Basics 102 - Knitting in the Round; begins 3/7 (3 sessions)

In this class we will knit a simple hat using the “in the round” technique. You will learn how to knit in the round on circular needles and DPNs (double pointed needles) and learn how to decrease.
