Crochet Ornament Class; 12/7
Decorate for the holidays with these crochet ornaments! We'll learn how to make puff circle and/or hexagons to wrap around a disc shaped ornament. Yarn and 2 ornaments will be provided - please select your color choice in the drop down menu.
Coffee Cozy/ Steeking Class (knit); 1/10 & 1/17
Nervous to cut your knits? Steeking might seem scary, but not with Laura! Come learn how to make a coffee cozy AND learn to steek. This is a great intro class that will prepare you for cutting into larger projects like cardigans or seaming sleeves into a sweater. Start small with the cozy and learn the basics. Plus, you get a nice cup cozy for those lovely fall bevies.
Colorwork Patchwork Square Class (knit); 1/10, 1/17, 1/31
In this class we will be making colorwork patchwork designs from the Saskie Knits book. This new book is full of patchwork style knits to create sweaters, cardigans, totes, blankets and slippers. You will learn how to work stranded knitting flat (and the basics of intarsia), and how to join knitted squares together to make a one of a kind piece. Purchase the book before class, or alternatively, you can choose to knit the Heirloom Cardigan by Katryn Seeburger.
September Slipover Class (knit); begins 2/7 (4 sessions)
Make this classic Petite Knit vest, and learn how to knit brioche! The combo of mohair and squishy brioche make this the warmest hug of a top. Making this pattern we will learn:
- Single color brioche flat and in the round
- Brioche & brioche increases
- Folded neckline
- Italian bind off
Steeked Sweater Class knit); begins 2/28 (5 sessions)
Have you wanted to make a beautiful colorwork cardigan but the idea of cutting your knitting makes you nervous? Or did you take our Steeked Cozy class and are now ready to go big (literally) and make your first steeked sweater? Then this is for you! We will walk you through the process of knitting, securing your work, and cutting your knitting. Choose your own pattern to steek!
Felted Slipper Class (knit); 3/7 & 3/21 (2026)
Work up these extra cozy slippers then felt them! In this 2-part class you will learn how to knit each slipper double thick in a bulky wool yarn, then take them home to felt in hot water.
