It's a Yarn Exchange Party!!
We're celebrating our first anniversary and the start of the holiday season with a party! Join us for an evening of fun - appetizers & cocktails (and mocktails!) will be served, raffle prizes, and a mini-skein yarn exchange too!
Join us Nov 16th from 6- 9pm in our neighbor, Make Apothecary's classroom space!
What is a mini-skein yarn exchange??
- Each participant brings 12 mini skeins (that weigh a minimum of 10 grams) of fingering weight yarn; plus 1 full skein of fingering weight yarn to contribute to the yarn exchange.
- Yarn will be dropped in individual bags, and everyone will leave with a mini-skein advent's worth of yarn! Plus a few extra treats the shop will throw in for fun.
- We'll have a great list for you of projects inspiration ideas to use your mini skeins on.
Guidelines: Yarn may be bought as a mini-skein, or balled up (perfect use of those leftover sock projects & scraps). Please don't use just one color (That way no one ends up with multiples of the same color); and please don't bring reclaimed yarn (ie from frogged projects, or previously knit/ crocheted yarn). Mini-skeins and the full skein of yarn needs to be fingering weight. Since this is a gift exchange, there is not monetary value and yarn may not be exchanged at the shop for other yarn.
Tickets are required to attend, please be prepared to show receipt at door.
