Winter Wheat is inspired from the farms and wheat fields in Washington State. Winter Wheat - designed for Strikke Yarn & Supply’s first American Wool Month to celebrate the farms and yarns that make American Wool possible. This pattern is worked bottom up, in stranded colorwork, using 2 contrasting colors of DK weight yarn. Options for a folder brim or flat brim included.

Yarn: Mitchell Wool Co. American Fiber DK (150yds/50g) Shown in Dandelion & Lamb colorways.

• Main Color: 93 (118, 130, 151, 168, 198) yds / 31 (39.25, 43.25, 50.25, 56, 66) g
• Contrast Color: 27 (38, 42, 55, 60, 75) yds / 9 (12.5, 14, 18.25, 20, 25) g

Needles: US 4 (3.5mm) 16” circular needle / US 6 (4mm) 16” circular needle & DPNs or needles required to get gauge

Gauge: 20 sts & 25 rows = 4 inches / 10 cm on larger needle

Sizes: Baby (Toddler, Child, Adult Small, Medium, Large)
14.5 (16.25, 18, 19.75, 21.5, 23.5) inch / 37 (41.5, 45.5, 50, 54.5, 59.5) cm circumference
