Beat the summer heat with your own custom handheld fan! In this class you'll learn how to take your love of granny squares to a new level and connect your piece to a wire frame for a fan. Choose from a floral shape, or a round shaped (think citrus theme) fan. These fans are both beautiful and functional. This class is great for intermediate and experienced crocheters. If you are a beginner, please see the experience/ skills listed below before signing up.

Experience: Able to crochet in the round (as you would with granny squares, or amigurumi). Experience with magic circle, double crochet and increases is needed.

 

Materials Included in Class: 

  • Wire frame and wood handle. You will choose from a simple round frame, or a flower shaped frame for more advanced crocheters. 
  • Yarn (up to 5 colors). We will have an assortment of mini balls for you to pick from. 

 

Materials to Bring to Class:

  • Crochet hook: size 3mm or similar (fingering weight yarn will be used for fans)
