Learn to knit a toe up sock with a heel flap and gusset. In this class you'll learn how to seamlessly cast on at the toe of a sock, work a heel flap and gusset, and a stretchy bind off. Toe up socks are easier to try on as you go, giving you a perfect fit.

Prerequisite: Advanced beginner to Intermediate. You should be totally comfortable knitting small circumference projects in the round using any one of the following methods: DPNs, magic loop, shorties, or two circular needles.

Materials to bring to class:

  • 250 yards DK sock yarn (or 500 yards fingering sock yarn, to hold double)

  • Size US 4 needles (your preference for small circumference knitting)

  • stitch markers
