Learn cable knitting while creating a hat fit for cool weather! In this class you’ll learn how to read a chart, knit cables - both with and without a cable needle, and end up with a squishy, cabled hat.

Prerequisite:

Experience with knit, purl, & decrease stitches; as well as knitting in the round.

Materials to Bring to Class:

• Pattern: Lake Reed Hat by Asita Krebs (free pattern available here)
• Yarn: 175 yards of DK or worsted weight; wound. Please refer to pattern for yardage amount for your size.
• Needles: US 8 DPN (adjust needle size if necessary for your own tension)
• Cable needles
• Stitch markers

Homework: cast on and work ribbing, per pattern, before first class.
